Your core is composed of 3 bony sections of your trunk, the pelvic girdle, rib cage and shoulder blades (scapula). Stability in these 3 areas provide a solid base for the muscles of your legs and arms to pull on. Without this stable base, your back becomes vulnerable to injury. There are 26 muscles that comprise your core. We work your body in all planes of motion, providing resistance either with your own body weight, cables, bands, balls and/or weight in order to train all the muscles of the core.
